This role will be based on the university campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Are you a well-organised and versatile individual with a strong customer service ethos and excellent attention to detail? Do you want to work as part of a team dedicated to making a positive difference for our students?
We are seeking a proactive and student-focused Employability & Placements Administrator to join our Student Careers Service. You will play a key role in enhancing the student experience by supporting the delivery of careers and employability provision. You will work closely with colleagues, students, graduates, and industry partners to deliver a wide range of activities.
In the first instance, you will be based in the Arts, Humanities and Cultures Employability Team, although this may change over time to support both business needs and your personal development. Our faculty-based Employability & Opportunity (E & O) Team ensures students can access comprehensive career-enhancing opportunities, including industrial placements, study abroad, work-related learning, and summer experiences.
Full training will be provided, but we are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail, alongside a genuine enthusiasm for supporting students and graduates.
Please note that due to Home Office visa requirements, this role is not suitable for first-time Skilled Worker visa applicants. Information on other visa options is available at: www.gov.uk/browse/visas-immigration/work-visas
