CONTRACT: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours, Monday-Friday)

INTERVIEW: Tuesday 7 October (13:30 - 16:30) or Wednesday 8 October (09:00 - 16:30)

We have a great opportunity for you to join the Bursarial Office as a full-time administrator (37.5 hours per week) to assist the Director of HR and the HR Administrator with the on-boarding of new starters and leavers, supporting the recruitment process and the employee cycle.

Trinity Hall has over 160 employees, 100 Fellows, and 100 casual workers. The HR Team (currently 2 of us) are covering demands and needs for both Operational Staff (circa 165) and Employed Academic Staff (circa. 20). We work closely with all the departments to support their staff and employment related matters.

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Proven-track record in HR or personnel administration
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the capacity to work independently when needed.
  • Meticulous attention to details.
  • The ability to handle tasks with empathy, discretion, and diplomacy are essential qualities.
  • A calm and composed approach when managing challenging situations.

This is for a minimum of 5 days a week on site - Monday to Friday between 08:00 to 17:00 - to meet operational demands (e.g. interviews, meetings and HR support) with some flexibility on working hours.

Duties

This is a varied post with duties to include:

  • Assisting in the recruitment process by scheduling interviews and coordinating communication with candidates including onboarding and leavers.
  • Maintaining employee records and ensuring all data is accurately entered into our HR systems.
  • Providing administrative support for various HR functions, including onboarding new employees and managing documentation.
