About the role
The School of Psychology is looking to recruit one full-time, fixed term, education and scholarship-focused faculty member at Lecturer level, with expertise in clinical psychology and mental health to convene and deliver Level 5 and 7 modules.
The post is available as replacement teaching to cover all aspects of teaching and assessment for two existing Level 7 modules on Child Clinical Psychology, and the Systematic Literature Review Dissertation also to convene, assess and teach some aspects of an existing Level 5 module on Clinical Psychology and Mental Health. Previous course material is available for you to use and adapt. In addition to delivering teaching, the post holder would be available to support students taking these modules and be responsible for all aspects of assessment and feedback. You will also have the opportunity to supervise a number of students completing the Dissertations on our MSc Foundations of Clinical Psychology and Mental Health Course.
About you
The post would suit someone who has recently completed (or about to complete) a PhD in a related topic and is interested in a career in higher education.
You would become part of the Clinical Psychology subject group and be able to take advantage of networking and professional development opportunities (e.g., mentoring).

The School was formally established in 2009, bringing together academics across biological, cognitive, developmental, clinical and social psychology into one School. We've now entered the second decade of our existence as one of the largest and most influential academic communities for psychology in the country!
