About Us

King’s College London is seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Risk and Resilience to lead the University’s approach to Business Continuity, Emergency Management, and Operational Risk. Based in the office of the Chief Operating Officer and working with colleagues across the University, this pivotal role ensures King’s remains resilient in delivering its core mission, even in the face of disruption.

About the Role

As Head of Risk and Resilience, you will work across the University to ensure that risk and resilience frameworks are robust, fit for purpose, and aligned with best practice. You’ll lead the Business Continuity Steering Group, advise senior leaders, and act as Incident Manager during critical events. We are seeking a confident and strategic leader who brings deep expertise in risk management and business continuity. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of influencing senior stakeholders and driving meaningful, organisation-wide change. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills are essential, along with experience in managing incidents and leading cross-functional teams through complex challenges. A commitment to continuous improvement and professional development will be key to thriving in this dynamic and high-impact role.

This is a full-time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
