Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Psychology

We are currently seeking a lecturer/senior lecturer in psychology to join our dedicated and committed team at Bath Spa University.

The psychology subject area at Bath Spa University is becoming known as a hub for applying psychology and we are looking for a new lecturers/senior lecturer to help us in our mission to use psychology to improve the lives of people in the local community. We are particularly keen to recruit someone who can contribute to these exciting new endeavours. The person we recruit will be able to work well with industry and educational partners while also able to bring their experiences into the classroom successfully. We are specifically recruiting someone who can contribute to cognitive and neuropsychology.

You will help design and deliver teaching content across a range of modules at Levels 4 to 6 in Psychology Programmes, as well as contributing to curriculum planning and development, and engaging in research or scholarly activity in Psychology. You will have the opportunity to develop new courses and help guide the focus of teaching and research in Psychology at Bath Spa University. You will also be engaging in relevant research and scholarly activity in support of the university’s research strategy, to inform and enhance curriculum design and to improve student experience. In addition, you will be supervising or mentoring colleagues with less experience and advising them on personal development.
