This is a fixed-term opportunity to contribute your expertise as an experienced contracts professional to a prestigious project of strategic importance. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of the Research Impact and Funding Model (RIFM) project, which sits at the heart of the LSE 2030 Research for the World Strategy, offering professional and educational development within a collaborative and well-supported environment. The Research Due Diligence Manager will help to support a responsible, supportive and stimulating research culture. They will enhance the School’s national security expertise and ensure a pro-active approach to building improved international and partner compliance, which in turn supports researchers at the School to produce excellent research.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the implementation of new due diligence processes and platforms under RIFM, implementing and refining policy and practice by researchers and professional services colleagues, managing a due diligence compliance process across the whole research lifecycle, ensuring compliance with the School's procedures for ethical screening and funder regulations and maintaining comprehensive and accurate records.

Candidates should have experience of due diligence to inform assessments of ethical and reputational risk, be able to develop process and systems to record and track activity and improve efficiency and be able to develop and maintain policies and procedures to support business processes.

LSE offers a flexible and collaborative working environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work both remotely and on-site but will be expected to attend our London office weekly.
