We are seeking an experienced and proactive Placements & Quality Manager to join the School of Medicine. This is a key operational role responsible for managing medical student placements and quality assurance across primary, secondary, and community care settings.

Reporting to the Head of Partnerships and External Engagement, the postholder will play a central role in sourcing and onboarding placement providers, ensuring ongoing compliance with GMC Promoting Excellence standards, and overseeing feedback and reporting processes. The role includes line management of the Placements Officer and support for in-house educator training and recognition activities.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in medical or health education administration, with expertise in placement operations, regulatory frameworks, and data reporting. Strong organisational and communication skills, a collaborative approach, and an ability to work autonomously are essential. Experience in quality assurance, managing educator relationships, and working with NHS partners is highly desirable.
