An exciting opportunity has arisen in the School of Chemistry, Pharmacy and Pharmacology for GPhC registered pharmacy professionals with teaching and work-based learning and assessment experience to join our team.
The main role focuses on teaching and assessment of our programmes for both pre and post qualification pharmacy technicians (including apprenticeships) within different NHS sectors and settings. Therefore, applicants should have both knowledge and enthusiasm for pharmacy technician education and for the progression of pharmacy technicians as healthcare professionals.
Alongside our enthusiastic team you will actively contribute to the ongoing development and delivery of the courses. Together with your experience as an educator, you must be a good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You will hold a teaching qualification (or willing to work towards). You will also have experience in work-based assessment and should be able to meet all the essential elements set out in the person specification for this post.
This post is available immediately on a full-time, indefinite basis.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
