Based within the Marketing and External Relations (MER) Directorate, the Marketing and Communications team exists to build and protect the University of Greenwich’s unique brand profile across the globe, and to deliver marketing to attract students that will thrive at the university.
We currently have a vacancy for a Marketing and Communications Assistant who will support our administrative and finance requirements, and work on a range of marketing and communications projects with colleagues across the team. This is a varied and exciting role within a team of thirty professionals managing the university’s internal and external marketing and communications function. You do not need to have prior experience of the Higher Education sector but must be passionate about the value of marketing and communications in helping the university to achieve its strategic goals
On the administrative side you will be raising purchase orders, updating the budget tracker, assisting with the forecast, booking meetings and other events coordination. On the project side you will be supporting activity across the university website, staff and student communications, events, digital marketing, brand and content, and social media.
This is a hybrid role based two days per week on campus (one day at Greenwich campus and one at Avery Hill campus) plus three days working remotely.
