About the Role

We are looking for a meticulously organised AI Hub Coordinator with experience of planning and delivering large-scale events to join our growing operational team, based at the University of Oxford’s Department of Computer Science.

The AI Hub Coordinator will play a pivotal role within our fast-paced, world-leading hub, coordinating a programme of in-person and virtual events and activities, including workshops, seminars, meetings and conferences. This will involve pre-event planning, creating and maintaining accurate documents and processes, and on-the-day event logistics. The successful candidate will also be required to develop successful working relationships with a range of stakeholders.   

This role is offered with part-time hours (0.4 FTE), on a fixed-term basis for an initial 12 months, with a possibility of extension. Flexible and hybrid working patterns will be considered. 

The AI Hub:

The EPSRC-funded Erlangen AI Hub brings together leading minds from across the UK’s mathematical, algorithmic and computational communities, employing foundational tools to break new ground in AI, and redefine its future use to benefit science, industry, the economy and society. The Hub focusses on the mathematics and computational research foundational to AI, which could unlock new, more efficient AI systems. In particular, the Hub seeks new AI breakthroughs by employing theoretical tools from currently underexplored mathematical fields. Led by the University of Oxford and partnered with institutions and industry across the UK, the Hub brings together a diverse cohort of stakeholders.
