The School of Science and Engineering has an international reputation for excellent teaching and research, particularly in addressing global challenges in health care, technology, energy, the environment, forensic science and infrastructure.

Mathematics has research strengths in:

  • Mathematical Biology and Computational Biophysics, developing a wide range of mathematical, physical and computational tools and techniques.

We are seeking a Lecturer in Mathematics who will contribute to our dynamic teaching and research environment. The successful candidate will engage in high-quality research that complements our strengths. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with leading researchers across both universities.

You will undertake your teaching in one 20-week semester at DIICSU in Changsha, China. You will benefit from a supportive environment that encourages professional development and offers numerous opportunities for collaboration both within the University and with external partners in both Dundee and Changsha. We are particularly interested in candidates who have a passion for interdisciplinary work.

We are one of the UK's leading universities, internationally recognised for our expertise and research breakthroughs in multiple areas, including science, medicine and engineering, amongst many others. Our purpose is to transform lives, locally and globally, which we do as a community of staff (Professional Services and academic Schools), students and alumni.
