The School
The School of Computing and Engineering at the University of West London is recognised for its innovation in both research and teaching. The School offers a vibrant academic community with courses spanning computing, engineering, multimedia, and audio technologies. Multimedia and Virtual Reality are rapidly developing areas within the School and play a key role in supporting the University’s academic and research agenda.
The School works closely with industry partners across creative media, gaming, healthcare, and engineering, where immersive technologies are increasingly applied to design, simulation, and user experience. The School also contributes to the Faringdon Centre for Non-Destructive Testing, which brings together cutting-edge facilities and interdisciplinary expertise to support applied research, innovation, and enterprise.
The Role
We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Multimedia and Virtual Reality to strengthen teaching, research, and professional practice in immersive technologies.

Applicants should hold a PhD in Multimedia, Virtual Reality, or a closely related field (or equivalent industry experience) and have experience of teaching in higher education.
