Are you an experienced and enthusiastic collaboration facilitator looking to further your career in one of the UK’s leading research-intensive universities? Do you have a background in developing and supporting partnerships with public and private sector organisations in the creative industries sector? The University of Leeds has a strong research base relevant to the Creative Industries, and we're looking to build out from this and form exciting research and innovation collaborations within our region and beyond.
This is an exciting time to be working in this area: from this year, we will embark on co-leading one of only ten prestigious Doctoral Focal Awards from the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), to train a new generation of interdisciplinary researcher-practitioners to work alongside – and within – the film, television, games and immersive media sectors, with a focus on sustainability and diversity. As part of our mid-term strategy refresh, the University has reaffirmed its commitment to civic engagement and support for the region, noting the Cultural and Creative Industries as a key strength; the postholder will play a key role in defining and publicising our support for the regional creative industries cluster, as a response to policy imperatives.
