About the Role
We are looking for a suitably experienced and qualified professional to join the Sports Department team as a Duty Manager working throughout the entire Complex at Iffley Road. As a senior member of operational staff, you will provide full support to the General Manager and team in leading the day-to-day operation of the Sports Complex and contributing to the delivery of quality service provision.
Duty Managers work on a well-balanced shift rota which includes evenings, weekends and early mornings. Working hours are an average of 36.5 per week over a set 2-week shift pattern.
Owing to the nature of this position, any offer of employment with the University will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
About You
• Experience in a leisure or sports environment, including junior staff management experience.
• Current RLSS NPLQ, First Aid at Work and Pool Plant Operator Qualifications.
• Ability to create and deliver accurate and appropriate verbal and written communications.
• Flexibility to work unsocial hours
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Willingness to act as key holder
This role does not meet the criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa under the UK Visa & Immigration points-based system. We are therefore unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
