About the role
The Department of Engineering Science are seeking to appoint a highly organised and proactive manager to support the successful delivery of the UK Hypersonic Doctoral Training Network funded by the Ministry of Defence (MOD) and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC). The post-holder will be the administrative and finance lead for the Network and will ensure delivery of a programme of doctoral training with a budget of circa £14M.
About You
The post holder should have experience of working in administration in a higher education setting and ideally with students. They should have experience of managing a large programme including excellent numerical skills to manage budgets. Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to work independently are essential.
