About the Role
The Associate Commercialisation Manager is an important role in the Biopharma team of QMI, playing a significant role in initiating promoting and delivering on commercialisation opportunities, principally from the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry linked to Barts and the Royal London.
The post-holder will contribute to the delivery of a range of outputs including technology disclosures, protection of university IP, license and investment transactions, and new venture formation.
Reporting to the Associate Commercialisation Director at QMI, you will contribute to our growing portfolio of spinouts and licenses.
The post is mainly based in Whitechapel, London (with the opportunity to work remotely for some of the time) and is a full-time appointment. The starting salary will be in the range of £42,500 - £47,500 per annum, depending on experience, inclusive of London Allowance.
About You
You will have a strong background in medical or life sciences with a PhD or business qualification or equivalent industry experience as well as knowledge of translational pathways and an understanding of technology transfer in higher education, or equivalent experience in the private sector. You will also have excellent communication and project management skills.
