About the Role
We are looking for a Clinical Teacher in Restorative Dentistry to join the Institute of Dentistry at Queen Mary University of London. The role involves delivering high-quality teaching and supervision in clinical and simulated settings, supporting students through teaching, assessment, and pastoral care. You will also contribute to student engagement activities and the smooth running of our undergraduate programmes.
About You
You must hold a BDS or equivalent registerable dental qualification and be fully registered with the General Dental Council. Significant post-graduate clinical experience is required, including general professional training and work in Restorative Dentistry (including urgent care).
Strong communication skills, experience supporting undergraduate teaching, and an understanding of student support needs are essential, along with good IT skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Teaching experience at undergraduate or postgraduate level and engagement in dental education scholarship are desirable but not essential.

The post is based at the Whitechapel Campus. It is part-time (7 hours per week), permanent appointment. The salary will be Pre-2009 Clinical Lecturer, in the range of £45,953-£82,701 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of London Allowance.
