This role is in-person at the Firepool Centre for Digital Innovation and the Exeter Science Park Centre with the option for home-working where appropriate.
This new part-time (0.6 FTE) post is available immediately on a fixed-term basis until 10/09/2027.
Summary of the role
The Business Support Manager will join the SETsquared Exeter Business Acceleration team, bringing demonstrable experience of supporting the accelerated growth of innovation ventures.
The post holder will support beneficiaries of the Somerset Innovation Hub with the development of viable business models through to investable propositions via a combination of 1-1 support, training, workshops and access to expert advice and guidance. The role will particularly focus on supporting the business development and customer acquisition activities of the beneficiaries, supporting them to develop strategic approaches to building valuable relationships, partnership opportunities, and income generation.
The Business Support Manager will also lead on the development and management of relationships with regional, national and international investors to develop an understanding of their focus areas and investment preferences to best support the growth aspirations of the beneficiaries.
