About the role
The post-holder will have specific responsibility for leading the development of transnational education (TNE) and strategic international partnerships at scale. The post-holder will work extensively with academic and professional service colleagues across BU as well as with HEIs and other partners overseas.
The main responsibilities include:
9.Engaging with relevant regional, national and international external organisations and networks including the British Council and Universities UK International (UUKi), attending meetings, and keeping up to date with policy developments and initiatives, and disseminating relevant information across the University.

The Global Engagement & Strategic Partnerships professional service is responsible for all international activities of BU including TNE, Recruitment, Exchange & Mobility and External Engagement, working closely with our partners in the UK and overseas to deliver the BU 2035 strategy. The professional service is part of the university’s ambition to grow globally to support our students, staff and wider community. With a wide range of deliverables the International Partnerships Manager role will be essential in maintaining and growing the global strategy for BU.
