About the role
We are looking for a Research Associate to work in the Imperial College Memory Research Centre, led by Professor Paul Edison. This Centre focuses on research into Alzheimer's disease, mild cognitive impairment, vascular dementia and other causes of dementia and cognitive impairment. It is evaluating novel therapeutic targets and microglial agents, utilising state of the art techniques in PET and MRI scanning.
What you would be doing
You would be working with Professor Edison on the ISAP trial, which is an industry funded study to better characterise Alxheimer’s disease. You will assist in evaluating different aspects of the study, perform data collection, analysis of neuroimaging data using PET, MRI, fluid biomarkers and other aspects of research. The appointee will also work on other studies within Professor Edison’s portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your knowledge clinical / neuroimaging research in a leading research organisation.
What we are looking for
You should hold a PhD in Neuroimaging, Neuroscience, or a related discipline. You should have experience of using imaging software and a knowledge of neuroimaging and biomedical engineering. You should have experience working in a research environment. Knowledge of PET and MRI analysis, alongside coding experience, is desired, but not essential. You should be flexible and proactive in a busy environment, and able to organise your own work.
