The opportunity
London College of Fashion is looking for an experienced lecturer to play a leading role as part of our Creative Direction for Fashion course team. This is an opportunity to lead the design, development and delivery of an innovative programme, equipping the next generation of creatives with the skills to navigate a rapidly evolving communication landscape.
Based in the School of Media & Communication, this course explores the intersection of fashion, communication, and divergent creative practices, encouraging students to build multidisciplinary skills and engage with emerging digital technologies.
As Course Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the course, overseeing all aspects of teaching, learning, and assessment. Drawing on your specialist media and communications expertise, your role is key to shaping the course's academic vision, ensuring that the curriculum remains current and industry-relevant, while maintaining the highest academic standards.
Additionally, you will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of a cutting-edge curriculum.
About you
We are looking for a skilled practitioner with a strong academic background and a degree in Communications, Media, or a related discipline.
Proven experience of teaching and assessment experience in a higher education environment is essential, along with a track record of research or professional practice in your own area of specialism.
Your ability to communicate effectively, work collaboratively, and champion inclusive and creative learning will also be central to your success in this role.
