The role
The Particle Physics group of the University of Bristol (tinyurl.com/particle-bristol) UK, seeks a Research Associate/Senior Research Associate to join its team working on the HL-LHC upgrade of the CMS experiment at CERN. The successful applicant will focus on strengthening our involvement on the ambitious High-Granularity Calorimeter project, which forms an essential part of the upgrade to CMS. In particular they will play a leading role in algorithm emulator development and maintenance as well as coordinating the definition and testing of interfaces to the Level-1 Trigger system. It is anticipated the candidate will have to spend some time at CERN during testing periods.
