The University of Glasgow is looking to appoint a Lecturer in Accounting (Tax and/or Audit) within the Adam Smith Business School.
The Adam Smith Business School and the Accounting and Finance subject group at the University of Glasgow seeks a broadly trained individual to take leadership in learning, teaching and scholarship. The post is learning, teaching, and scholarship focused.
We are looking for candidates in the areas of accounting but are particularly interested in candidates who offer industry or scholarship and teaching expertise in Taxation and/or Audit.
This may include candidates with a strong track record in teaching and scholarship, as well as those who bring substantial industry expertise and practical insights into these areas. The successful candidate will be expected to integrate their specialist knowledge into the School’s teaching portfolio and contribute to the development of innovative and practice-informed learning experiences.
For appointment at Grade 8, the candidate will also make a substantial and positive contribution to the Subject/School’s programmes and scholarship, delivering an excellent student experience. They will provide academic leadership and management associated with undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and engage in rigorous enquiries into learning and teaching practices.
This post is full time (35 hours per week) and open ended.
