This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

We are searching for a highly motivated and experienced Insurance Officer, preferably with experience of higher education, to act as a key University advisor and specialist on all insurance-related matters. You will be responsible for managing the annual insurance renewal exercise process, liaising with University wide internal stakeholders, brokers, and direct insurers, in accordance with an agreed renewal timetable and strict deadlines. You will also have the responsibility for the day-to-day administration of the University’s insurance portfolio, maintaining accurate insurance records, responding to complex enquiries, managing claims and alerting senior management to areas of risk.
