About the role
The primary responsibility of the postholder will be to provide high-level strategic and operational support to develop business opportunities for the Centres/Institutes to which they are assigned. This will involve pitching to senior executives, understanding contracts/IP, and developing new business in a technological environment.
The post-holder will require skills in project and budget management, business planning, reporting and networking with internal and external, current and potential, project stakeholders.
About you
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following criteria:
- Undergraduate degree in an engineering or STEM subject or equivalent level of knowledge and experience.
- Experience of coordination and management of multi-stakeholder projects.
- Experience of developing commercial impact from R&D outputs.
- Proven experience of developing business opportunities in a technology environment.
- Ability to identify client needs and design engagement opportunities that align with institutional objectives.
