LSE Consulting belongs to the commercial arm of the London School of Economics and Political Science. LSE Consulting, which sits under the Research and Innovation Division of LSE, provides exceptional support to consulting project activity and ensures the quality of competitive proposals against project specifications, working closely with academics, departments, and research centres across the School.
The Training Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting LSE academics in the design, coordination, and delivery of training programmes for external clients. This role combines strategic programme development with hands-on operational support, ensuring that training activities are responsive to client needs and aligned with the School’s academic strengths.
You will work closely with LSE academics, Departments, and Centres to scope and shape training offers, while also liaising with external clients to understand their requirements and translate them into tailored learning solutions. The post-holder will contribute to proposal development, programme design, and coordination of delivery logistics, ensuring a high-quality experience for both trainers and participants.
This role requires a proactive and client-focused approach, with strong organisational and communication skills. Applicants should have experience in programme or training management, ideally within a higher education or consulting environment, and be confident in engaging with both internal stakeholders and external partners. The ability to manage multiple projects, contribute to proposal writing, and support academics in delivering impactful training is essential.
