Do you have experience of researching, developing, coordinating or delivering Student Engagement initiatives in a Collegiate University? 

About the role

We are looking for a passionate, talented individual who can be our next University Engagement Lead in Ashmolean Museum. 

In this role, you will develop, budget, deliver and evaluate an ambitious, exciting and audience-focused programme of engagement for initially students, and in later years staff, in line with the Ashmolean's Audience Development Plan and Strategic Priorities. You will create new student internship opportunities and you will grow new opportunities for student and staff advocacy and ambassadorship. You will develop a strategy for marketing and publicising opportunities for Student and Staff University Engagement at The Ashmolean and produce digital outputs, working with systems on multiple platforms, including social media, website and digital marketing. 

This is a permanent, part-time (50% of the full-time equivalent) role. This role requires on-site working and a satisfactory enhanced DBS check result due to the nature of responsibilities. The postholder will need to work some evening, weekend and holiday provision, following the rhythm of our Collegiate University. 

About you

You will have outstanding interpersonal, verbal, presentation and written communication skills. You will be positive, open and driven, able to work independently and as part of different teams. You will have the ability to manage your workload and time efficiently, prioritising tasks, multi-tasking and remaining calm under pressure. You will be a strategic thinker who is able to engage with Oxford University student and staff audiences to create targeted, engaging and impactful programming.
