About the opportunity:
The Sports Facility Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective daily operation of the Centre for Sport facilities. This includes overseeing Centre Assistants and supervising customer activities during assigned shifts. The role is pivotal in upholding Health & Safety standards, fostering team development, and delivering a consistently high-quality experience for all users of the facilities.
Key responsibilities include:
Must have experience of team supervision, motivation and coaching with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of people including University staff, students and members of the public.
The role will encompass a fixed 4 week rota pattern – 2 days of which will be as Duty Officer (18.5hrs) the remaining hours will be administrative based, distributed throughout the week.
Wk1 – Duty Officer : Mon 07:00 – 17:00, Tue 07:00 – 15:30) Wed/Thu – Admin
Wk2 – Wed/Thu Admin, Duty Officer Fri 07:00 - 13:00 Sat 08:30 – 21:00
Wk3 – Duty Officer : Tue 14:30 – 23:00 Fri 13:00 – 23:00 Wed/Thu – Admin
Wk4 – Duty Officer : Mon/Tue 13:15 – 22:30 Wed/Thu - Admin
