We have an opportunity for a Research Assistant to contribute to the work of the consortium *Policy Modelling for Health ("HealthMod”, 2024-2028) and associated projects, *working with Dr. Andreas Hoehn, Prof. Petra Meier and the wider Systems Science in Public Health team within the Public Health Unit, School of Health and Wellbeing.
HealthMod is a large UK-wide research programme which connects scientists, policymakers, and charities interested in using economic policies to improve people's health. Taking a systems science approach, the HealthMod consortium develops public health computational modelling that provides timely and effective support to real-life policy processes.

The candidate will also operate the tools developed to run analyses under supervision and make contributions to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals as opportunities arise throughout an interdisciplinary and often co-produced research process.
We encourage applications from candidates of all related sectors and academic backgrounds, including (but not limited to) Public Health, Epidemiology, Demography, Geography, Sociology, Economics, Criminology, Social Sciences, Psychology, Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, Biology, Engineering, Data Science or Computer Science.
