About us
The UCL Centre for Radiopharmaceutical Chemistry (CRC) is a multidisciplinary research centre dedicated to the development and clinical translation of novel biomedical imaging agents. The centre combines cutting-edge chemistry with clinical applications, supporting observational studies and clinical trials to advance precision medicine. The joint UCLH Endocrinology and Endocrine Surgery Departments provide integrated, multidisciplinary care for patients with complex endocrine disorders in thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal pathology.
About the role
The successful candidate will join a dynamic clinical trial team working in collaboration with the UCL CRC and the joint UCLH Endocrinology and Endocrine Surgery Departments, both of which are dedicated to the delivery of IDEAL2. IDEAL2 is a multicentre Phase 2 clinical study evaluating the imaging performance of a novel PET tracer (AldoView) radiopharmaceutical designed to improv e diagnostic accuracy in patients with primary aldosteronism. TThis post is available on full-time and part-time basis and is eligible for sponsorship.
About you
You will plays key role in supporting the delivery of a Phase 2 clinical trial, contributing to study visits, safety monitoring, adverse event reporting, and documentation. You are amotivated and detail-oriented clinician with a strong foundation in clinical research, ideally within endocrinology, nuclear medicine, or a closely relatedspecialty. You bring asolid understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), regulatory frameworks, andtrial protocols, and are confident navigating the operational demands ofmulticentre studies. You must have demonstrable expertise in endocrinology, particularly primary aldosteronism andrelated adrenal disorders. You are clinician with a relevant medical degree and are registered with the GeneralMedical Council (GMC) at Specialist Registrar Grade or below or activelyprogressing through the GMC registration pathway, including visa arrangementswhere applicable.
