About the role
The Admissions Office is looking to appoint a new Admissions Coordinator to support the smooth, professional, and efficient running of the University’s admissions operation.
Working as part of the centralised Admission Office, you will primarily work within the Postgraduate Admissions team looking after applications for a group of masters courses and responding to applicant enquiries.
The Admissions Office is a busy, friendly environment with a team currently comprising 40 staff (including this post) split between Undergraduate Admissions, Postgraduate Admissions and Scholarships. The Associate Director Global Admissions oversees the work of the whole Office.
About you
You will have a friendly, welcoming demeanour and ideally have existing experience of working within admissions.
You will need to be organised, hard-working and possess excellent attention to detail. You should be comfortable working in a busy, pressured environment with an expectation of meeting tight deadlines.
The Admissions Team work together closely throughout the admissions cycle, so you will have demonstrable team working skills while also possessing the ability to work independently and take initiative, when required.
You will need excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
You will ideally have experience of working with people from across the globe and in dealing with those whose first language is not English.
