Director of Finance & Procurement

Work pattern: 35 hours per week

Liverpool Hope University is seeking a creative, proactive and driven Director of Finance and Procurement to join our senior leadership community at a pivotal moment in our strategy. As the University’s Senior Responsible Finance Officer, you will provide leadership across all aspects of financial management, administration and procurement, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation while enabling the delivery of our strategic ambitions. Working closely with the Chief Operating Officer and University Executive, you will play a central role in shaping financial strategies, aligning them with institutional priorities and securing long-term sustainability.

We are looking for an exceptional leader with the expertise, vision and credibility to drive forward financial planning and investment, while supporting the University Executive Board in developing and diversifying income. You will bring the confidence to challenge constructively and the insight to identify innovative ways of improving surpluses, growing existing income streams and reducing costs. Alongside this, you will ensure that the Finance and Procurement function delivers accurate, timely and purposeful analysis and insight to inform performance monitoring and strategic decision-making.
