About the Role
The post holder will be joining the Centre for Preventive Neurology at the Wolfson Institute of Population Health, Queen Mary University of London. The post-holder will be expected to work on two major research projects, focusing on Multiple Sclerosis and Dementia and funded by Alzheimers Research UK and NIHR. They will be expected to assist with all aspects of the studies, including study coordination, recruitment, sample acquisition and analysis, data entry, and basic data analysis/quality control.
About You
Candidates must have a good degree (First or Upper Second) in a science subject and a broad understanding of the research process. The ideal candidate will also have familiarity with Good Clinical Practice and the regulations around data protection and security. Experience of working with patients and clinical research data would be advantageous.

The Centre for Preventive Neurology is at the forefront of international research and brings together an expert team to carry out revolutionary new research into Dementia, Multiple Sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease. The centres focus is on academic discipline, research, the translation of research into health strategies and their practical implementation – all dedicated to the reduction of disease and disability.

The post is based in Charterhouse Square. It is full time (35 hours per week), fixed term appointment for 12 months. The salary will be Grade 4 at £38,419 - £39,022 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
