The University of Sunderland in London, based at Canary Wharf, boasts a vibrant and diverse community of staff and students. We consider ourselves as an innovative satellite campus and are constantly evolving and have exciting plans for 2025 and beyond!
We are currently piloting a four-day working week which allows our colleagues to work 32 hours over 4 days week with no reduction in pay. The pilot is part of our ongoing efforts to create a positive and inclusive workplace that promotes work-life balance and allows our colleagues to thrive professionally and personally whilst maintaining our commitment to delivering high-quality service to all our students.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The Digital Learning Team at the University of Sunderland in London is a small, forward-thinking, collaborative group dedicated to enhancing the digital capabilities of both staff and students. We design and deliver engaging workshops, provide expert support on learning technologies, and develop innovative digital resources that enrich the teaching and learning experience. Working closely with academic and professional services colleagues, we champion digital inclusion and continuous improvement, ensuring our university community is equipped with the skills and tools needed to thrive in a digital-first world.
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this exciting role, you’ll support the delivery of engaging digital skills workshops and programmes for both staff and students, while also providing day-to-day assistance with learning technologies and virtual learning environments. You’ll be the first point of contact for queries, help troubleshoot technical issues, and play a key role in developing high-quality digital resources that enhance the learning experience. This is a great opportunity to shape the future of digital education at University of Sunderland in London and make a difference in how we teach and learn.
To thrive in this role, you will need to have experience in a role providing technical support for an online platform, strong organisational skills, a flair for communication, and a genuine enthusiasm for digital technologies and innovation.
