Academic Skills Adviser (Maths & Stats)

In this role, you'll be at the heart of our MASH (Maths and Statistics Help) provision. You will lead on statistics support, providing engaging one-to-one sessions and delivering a dynamic program of workshops. You'll also use your digital literacy to develop high-quality, accessible online resources that support students from foundation-level preparation through to postgraduate projects.

You will use your experience to:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support in statistics.
• Design and deliver a range of workshops as part of the MASH program.
• Develop digital resources for students at all levels of study.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with:

• A good honours degree in maths, statistics, or a related subject with substantial quantitative content.
• Proven experience in providing individual and small group tuition, both face-to-face and online.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A high level of digital literacy, including working with relevant statistics packages such as SPSS and R.
