Role Summary
The Lecturer / Senior Lecturer is a new role which will contribute to the teaching and assessment on the BA (Hons) Fashion Communication & Industry Practice course.
The postholder will work across the College’s undergraduate course provision to design and deliver relevant learning experiences for students studying at levels 4-6. The ideal candidate will have the expertise, enthusiasm and communication skills to inspire our diverse cohort of students and should be an expert in all or a selection of the below disciplines:
The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate academic flexibility as well as a strong commitment to the learning experience and pastoral care of students. They will support students intellectually and creatively as they develop their responses to set assignments and tasks. The postholder is required to engage in subject discipline and pedagogical development to ensure relevance and currency in their teaching practice and appropriate academic support to students.
Contract: Part-time (2 days per week - 0.40fte), and permanent
Location: Vogue College of Fashion – London
Reports to: BA Course Leader
Salary: £50,000-£55,000 (Lecturer), £55,000-£60,000 (Senior Lecturer)
