The role
The SpLD Adviser provides academic skills support to undergraduate and postgraduate students and apprentices with a specific learning difference and/or neurodivergence. The key responsibilities of this role are to support students with learning differences to develop effective learning strategies and to appropriately use technology to enable them to perform to their full academic potential. The SpLD Adviser will work with students individually and in small groups. They will also work closely with colleagues in the Student Support Team , the Lead on Academic Engagement and with faculty to assist the University in continuing its work to become an inclusive learning environment.
