About the role

As our Power Platform Technical Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our world-leading institution. Your mission: to enable, educate, and inspire a diverse community of makers, delivering long lasting impact from our multimillion-pound investment in the Power Platform.

With your passion for collaboration, innovation and technical expertise, you will act as both a mentor and a catalyst, championing best practice and our security culture, driving adoption and showcasing the platform’s latest capabilities. Alongside this, you'll also have the opportunity to contribute directly to critical flagship solutions that underpin the university’s digital operations.

What you would be doing

  • You will champion the Power Platform across the university, driving adoption and facilitating a community of makers.
  • You will act as a role model, sharing your knowledge and inspiring colleagues to build their own scalable and impactful solutions.
  • You will keep a forward-looking focus, supporting the practical adoption of AI and other cutting-edge features.
  • You will appraise and monitor adoption to proactively ensure solutions align to best practices and the organisation’s security culture.
  • You will be embedded in an agile delivery squad and contribute to the overall success of the team.

What we are looking for

You will have:

  • A passion for the Power Platform with an ability to inspire colleagues to adopt a technical transformation in their diverse business areas.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build community, foster collaboration, and coach colleagues of varying technical abilities.
  • Hands-on experience creating your own applications and automations with Microsoft Power Platform using a range of data sources including Dataverse and SharePoint.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and continuous learning abilities, with a thirst for innovation in adopting latest trends.
  • An awareness of platform governance and security, including platform management tools.
