The purpose of this post is to coordinate, write and submit multi-author, multi-disciplinary collaborative papers for the MediForge and DM2 Accelerator research programmes.

FTE: 1 (35 hours/week)
Term: Fixed Term (12 months)

CMAC is a world-class centre of excellence for medicines manufacturing research, training and translation seeks a motivated scientific writer to accelerate our delivery and increase impact of the research outputs of our MediForge: Industry 5.0 medicines manufacturing research hub and DM2 Accelerator research programmes. The Hub’s Vision is to revolutionise the pharmaceutical landscape with its Industry 5.0 manufacturing system paradigm for sustainable, resilient, and human-centric medicines manufacture. The purpose of this post is to coordinate, write and submit multi-author, multi-disciplinary collaborative papers for the MediForge and DM2 Accelerator research programmes. The role will support the publication of papers that are close to submission, support the writing, submission and publication of large, multi-author, multi-university papers and support researchers to submit further aligned papers.

The candidate will have a PhD in a relevant subject (either Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, physical sciences or a related discipline) with experience of writing papers in a clear and concise manner evidenced through publication track record, ideally working in a multi-disciplinary, multi-site research team. The candidate will be proactive, assertive and able to communicate and influence at all levels of seniority in the team with good attention to detail, being well organised, and meeting deadlines. Case studies of papers will also be drafted for dissemination to wider audience to maximise impact.
