The University of Oxford is seeking a highly motivated and clinically oriented Postdoctoral Researcher or medically trained early-career scientist to join Professor Betty Raman’s Inherited Heart Disease Research Programme.
This role focuses on advancing early diagnosis and risk stratification in individuals with inherited cardiac conditions through cutting-edge imaging research. The successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis of non-invasive cardiovascular imaging datasets, including echocardiography and cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging (CMR), to identify novel markers of inherited heart disease.
Candidates should hold a PhD or MD with significant experience in cardiology, and experience in cardiac imaging (Echo and/or CMR). A strong track-record of first author and/or senior author high-impact publications in cardiac imaging.
This post offers an excellent opportunity for an aspiring academic to contribute to high-impact research while developing their independent career. Candidates with ambitions to apply for further funding will be well supported. The job would require the candidate to work on-site.
