Key responsibilities include facilitating grant applications, coordinating peer review processes, servicing Research Committees, and supporting the delivery of funded projects. You will also contribute to research communications, events, and profile-raising activities, working closely with central Professional Services.
You will assist with data collation for the Research Excellence Framework (REF), project reporting, and open access and data management compliance. This varied role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build effective working relationships across the University.
About You

Strong analytical and IT skills (particularly in Word and Excel) are essential, along with confidence in basic accounting concepts. You will be an effective communicator, highly organised, and able to manage competing priorities. Experience supporting REF-related activities and knowledge of funding opportunities across career stages is desirable.
You will be proactive, diplomatic, and committed to fostering a collaborative and inclusive working environment.
