Our dedicated Lecturer (Teaching) team are subject specialists focused on delivering student education, which is active, social, applied, and inclusive within our vibrant and varied education environment.

The Role

The School of Health and Care delivers an extensive range of undergraduate and post graduate courses for professionals working in health and care settings inclusive of nursing, midwifery, occupational therapy, dietetics, paramedic science, operating department practitioners, diagnostic radiography, podiatry, clinical psychology and public health. 

As a Lecturer (Teaching) in the Post Registration MSc Nursing Team, you will coordinate and deliver teaching across undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional programmes, ensuring students receive a high-quality learning experience.

Duties include:

  • Support the design and delivery of the Post Registration MSc Nursing Curriculum.
  • Lead and teach modules and courses across HE levels 4–7 in relevant academic subject areas.
  • Curate, adapt, and create learning materials, assessments, and feedback tasks aligned with quality assurance processes.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to students enrolled in the programme.
  • Maintain high standards of academic integrity in teaching, learning, and assessment.

Qualifications Required

  • NMC Registration in Nursing (Current and Active) is essential for this role
  • A teaching qualification or be willingness to undertake a teaching qualification if not already qualified is essential for this role.
  • A Masters Degree in an appropriate/relevant professional subject area is an essential requirement for this role.
  • A PhD would be advantageous
