Our dedicated Assistant Professors (Teaching) are subject specialists focused on delivering student education, which is active, social, applied, and inclusive within our vibrant and varied education environment.
The Role
The School of Health and Care delivers an extensive range of undergraduate and post graduate courses for professionals working in health and care settings inclusive of nursing, midwifery, occupational therapy, dietetics, paramedic science, operating department practitioners, diagnostic radiography, podiatry, clinical psychology and public health.
As Assistant Professor (Teaching) in the Post-Registration MSc Nursing team, you will coordinate courses and deliver teaching across undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional programs, ensuring students receive a high-quality learning experience.
This role will play a key role in enhancing the student learning experience, including leading academic teams. They collaborate with colleagues to enrich teaching and ensure that relevant research, enterprise, and professional context are integrated into modules and courses.

You will bring proven experience teaching Nursing at levels 4–7, with strong digital skills and leadership in creating face-to-face and online learning materials.
