Fixed term for 12 months

Full time – 37 hours per week

This role attracts a market supplement of £4,500 per annum. This supplement is a temporary non-consolidated payment and will be reviewed on an annual basis

The role

Working within a diverse and supportive team, you will have existing procurement experience and strong proven administrative and communication skills to deliver this dynamic role. 

You will:

• Provide procurement support to strategic and complex procurement activities
• Manage and co-ordinate tender process activities
• Collate information, conduct research, analyse data and prepare reports
• Co-ordinate and support the implementation of new procurement legislation
• Under supervision of a manager, develop and manage tender activity
• Work with a wide range of stakeholders

The team

The Procurement Team sits within the Finance and Procurement Directorate and isrecognised for its value and contribution to achieving the core ambitions of the university. We are recruiting to strengthen the existing team’s capacity in order to influence the potential in the University’s existing supply chain and future procurement requirements.
