The Faculty of Engineering at The University of Nottingham is renowned for its excellence in teaching and world-class research. Together our staff and students are discovering innovative ways to change the world for the better and there has never been a more exciting time for you to join us. The role brings rewarding and empowering contact with academic, research staff and students alike. We value a flexible approach and willingness to learn as well as develop new professional skills. Within this inspiring environment, you will organise and supervise the highly utilised laboratories, with support from other technical colleagues. Responsibilities will include maintenance of laboratories and equipment, management of laboratory health and safety, liaising with colleagues on the design and content of new laboratory experiments, and providing teaching support.
