Salary:
Grade F Lecturer salary: £41,064 to £46,049 per annum
Grade G Lecturer salary: £47,389 to £56,535 per annum
We seek to appoint a Lecturer in Innovation (Teaching and Research) into our Entrepreneurship and Innovation Subject Group. We are a vibrant community of scholars, researchers and doctoral students that is dedicated to cutting-edge research, educational excellence, and sharing our knowledge and expertise. We realise this through our continuous engagement and collaboration across various sectors and organisational settings, both locally, regionally and internationally. Our work supports innovators and entrepreneurs and we are at the forefront of addressing contemporary issues faced by entrepreneurial and innovative firms, as well as public and third-sector organisations. We have a diverse range of research interests across the group and we have a comprehensive teaching portfolio at undergraduate and post graduate levels including an MSc in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management (see our website Entrepreneurship and Innovation Subject Group | Business School | Newcastle University).
We are looking for an outstanding candidate to join our Subject Group. You must be able to demonstrate research as evidenced by high-quality publications that are universally recognised as world-leading and/or internationally excellent - and deliver leading-edge, innovative and inclusive teaching. Successful candidates will have a strong research trajectory in innovation with significant potential to generate research income, pursue impact activities, and to develop an international reputation. You will be committed to the success and development of Newcastle University Business School and be good citizens that are willing to contribute to positions of responsibility within the Group and the School. The post is open to colleagues with different innovation specialisms that contribute to our innovation teaching portfolio at undergraduate and post graduate levels. You must be present on campus for the role.
