Who we need
A fresh exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Catering lecturer to join our busy curriculum Catering Team here at the City Hub site in Nottingham
As part of this role, you will work alongside a dynamic Catering and Hospitality team and support in the delivery of a fast paced, curriculum area.We are looking for people committed to providing excellent standards of culinary skills both in Kitchen and patisserie, knowledge of assessments across VRQ’s level 1 to 2 are desirable.
The ability to demonstrate good organisational skills and model professional practices, working to high set standards, being able to work on your own initiative as wellas part of a team is also essential.
Experience of working in an FE provision environment is essential and the possession of an assessor's award (A1/TAQA) is desirable.
What you’ll bring
A key focus of this role will be maintaining and driving the set high standards of assessment practices teaching a diverse range of students whilst being able to develop their practical kitchen skills in line with industry standards and enhancing the overall student experience.
You will bring a professionalism aligned with an experienced team of lecturers and be able to support the curriculum of continued growth and success of the Catering and Hospitality provision.
