We are looking for an experienced project coordinator to support the delivery of a creative action research programme within a three-year ESRC-funded project, Understanding the health and wellbeing of farm women: A life-course approach (Health and Wellbeing of Women in Farming). Through a combination of quantitative, qualitative and creative research methods, this project is deepening understanding about the complex psychosocial, cultural and familial processes that influence farm women’s health and well-being across the life-course (including physical, reproductive, mental and emotional health). It will also offer vital insights into help-seeking behaviour and the usefulness of different forms of support.
Working closely with the research team, this post will be responsible for coordinating a programme of creative action research workshops aimed at exploring the potential of creative practice for supporting positive well-being among women in farming communities. The post-holder will help manage this element of the research, including commissioning creative practitioners, managing the practicalities of event planning, arranging appropriate documentation, evaluating the workshop programme, generating social media/digital content about the workshops, and assisting with the development of related research outputs. Periods of travel to remote rural areas of England and Wales is likely to be required as part of the role. The successful applicant is required to have a drivers’ licence.
Please ensure you read the Job Description and Person Specification on our website for full details of this role.
