We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant (PDRA) to join a research project funded by an UKRI Grant.

Reporting to Professor Patrick Rebeschini, the post holder will be a member of a research group with responsibility for carrying out research for the UKRI ERC Guarantee Grant project General Theory of Implicit Regularization (GTIR). The post holder will provide guidance to junior members of the research group, including PhD students and project volunteers.

The position is offered on a fixed-term basis until 30 September 2028, with a maximum duration of 24 months (twenty-four months), and is full-time.

Applicants will have, or be close to completing a PhD/DPhil in statistics, computer science, or related areas.  They will have excellent communication skills, including the ability to write for publication, present research proposals and results, and represent the research group at meetings.
