Project management Office (PMO) is responsible for delivering all of the organisations strategic projects across a wide portfolio and the successful candidate will be joining a close-knit team with diverse skill-sets. You will be working alongside Business Analysts, Business Relationship Managers, IT PM’s, Capital & Estates staff and Process & Project Governance professionals.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Estates Project Manager to join the PMO.
The primary focus of the role will be on delivering key strategic Capital refurbishment Projects up to £15M in value, within operational and listed buildings.
You will hold an undergraduate degree or have demonstrable and appropriate practical experience and a recognised professional project management qualification, or have appropriate practical experience. You will have experience of managing building or refurbishment projects, ideally in an HE environment, Knowledge of specialist equipment including, fire alarms systems, access control, CCTV and BMS along with excellent interpersonal skills. All PMO staff at times could become involved with other strategic projects, which offer opportunities to develop diverse skills and knowledge. The applicant should have proven project delivery experience and an appreciation of the Higher Education landscape and its pressures.
The post is full-time 35 hours per week, 1 FTE and permanent.
The salary will be on the LSHTM salary scale, Grade 7 in the range £53,317 - £61,034 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London.
